Bill Westheimer Photo Portfolio Offered

Some years ago about the Bill Westheimer shot aerial photos for MRA. Now he has offered “a full set of the 14" x 11" black & white silver gelatin prints which I am glad to sell to raise money for MRA.”

”The background is this: When I first made the 50 portfolios of prints my parents bought a portfolio.  Sadly, in the last year they both died and now I have their set plus the set I kept for myself.  I don't want two - so I propose that if MRA knows someone who would buy the prints, they can send me a check for $1000 made out to Mountain Rescue Aspen.  I will send the portfolio to the purchaser and the check to MRA.  I don't benefit from this at all, but I would like for the prints to support MRA as originally intended.  (The purchaser gets a tax deduction too because the check is made out to MRA.)”

“The prints are 14"x11"silver gelatin prints, unsigned, there is a page inside the portfolio which is signed.  They come in an black box which shows some signs of wear, but the prints are in excellent condition.  Only 50 portfolios were printed in this size.  They sold to raise money for MRA and were all taken immediately.  The project was funded by Mort & Lita Heller, John Denver, Agfa Gevaert, and Ilford.”
