Evening with your beacon:

1st Tues and last Wed of each month, starting in December. and ending in April. See Calander for Dates for 2006/2007 Season.

This is an opportunity to practice with your beacon, outside at night. The training will be held in town at Rio Grande park. We usually begin around 6pm and the training lasts for approximately 1-2 hours. This is a great chance to practice with your beacon! Everyone is welcome and there is no charge for these events. There will be instruction in beacon use and practice finding buried beacons. There will be some beacons available to practice with. Wear warm clothes and boots and if you have a beacon, headlamp or flashlight bring it along!
