Mountain Rescue, Aspen will be leading a free public beacon training seminar at our NEW Beacon Park at the Snowmass ski area, just off of Fanny Hill. The training begins at noon on Saturday, February 12th 2011 and will go until 3pm. Bring your beacon and probe pole, if you have them, You will not need skis or snowshoes, however, come dressed for the weather to learn and practice with your beacon, shovel and probe. Beacons and probes will be available to borrow. Training lasts about an hour.
